Annan River Mouth

From flat to small waves. Shallow areas around the sandbars. Awesome flat water at low tide. Look out for jellyfishes October to May, it is advised to wear a full lycra suit. Long, sandy bay with a big sandspit into the river mouth. Lots of space. Most time of the year consistent SE winds blow, but especially April to September with 20-30 knots. During summer lighter northerlies are common, but it can also have good SE wind days. ESE and SE are very constant, SSE is gustier. Mainly shorts, but on colder days in fall and winter a shorty is needed. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Camping, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
