Just in front of the fishing village there is a channel quite wide (about 100 meters) here you can go out at any tides and there are less rocks then Tugu. The waves are easier then the other beaches. The sandy beach is pretty wide for rigging and launching. The wind is definitely sideshore and more constant compared to the other beaches. It can happen, that if there is no wind on the east cost there is 14-18 knots of wind on this side. Some kind of venturi effect plus the land heating create more wind in this side. The dry season is from April till October and wind months as well. Temperature is tropical, no wetsuit needed. Water is 25-32°C. Air from 20-35°C. It is possible to surf all year around. Water: Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
