Barra do Jacuipe

Perfectly flat water, with strong stream at full and new moon days. Good waves for surfing outside of the river. Surfing is possible all year long but better in the wind off-season. Soft sand river beach that runs perpendicular to the ocean, with medium land/launch area. Small typical restaurants (barracas de praia) at the beach with shower and toilets. September to March: Northeast, 10-25 knots (best season). April to August: Southeast, 10-25 knots. Warm water and air all year long. No wetsuit required, only solar protection. Water: Shallow, Flat, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
