SW monsoon: rough and dangerous chop. NE monsoon: smooth but offshore winds. Beach is sandy with palm trees. Not much depth, not ideal for kiting. This is not a very good spot for kite or windsurfing as the wind is nearly always about 8 knots. When it picks up it is gusty and is generally a tropical storm. The two monsoons means the wind is always either directly onshore or directly offshore. SW monsoon: onshore. NE monsoon: offshore. Very hot location. 30°C and humid. Very warm water (27°C). Water: Chop. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
