Flat to choppy water. Shallow for about 50m. Gravel and sand beach. Best in East and Northwest winds. At the Bodensee suddenly storms can hit. Therefore a storm warning system has been created, using orange flashing lights, and ships put up a balloon on the mast. Look out for these signals to avoid getting into problems.
