Brighton Le Sands

Choppy water, no waves. Very flat water with NE next to the airport runway. Nice, open area for launching. Sandy beach which can get crowded with kites and beach goers. On busy days spots can be found a short walk south that won't be so packed. The beach backs onto a busy road only 100m downwind. NE-SE winds in the 5-30 knot range. NE sea breezes are best and most common, blowing 10-20 knots 3-4 days of the week on average. Temp in summer around 25-40°C, water around 21-22°C, shorts are fine for summer when the wind is at its best. Warm water in summer (~22°C) with colder water in winter (~16°C). Water: Chop.
