Be very careful during the low tide, because it's absolutely full of outcropping rocks starting from Ihla Do Amor and going on along the cost till Maceio beach. Best winds from July to end of January. Normally trade/thermal winds from NE during the day. You have side on shore/side winds in front of Ihla Do Amor spot or in the beaches facing the ocean in front of Camocim town. You have very gusty and side off shore/off shore winds in Maceio beach. Very strong and gusty winds in summer with peaks till 40 knots, then you have a decrease starting from December, January and February, but still very gusty wind and in January still peaks of 30-35 knts. Warm all year. Air during the day 32°C and at night 27°C. The is water 29°C and just shorts are needed. Bring sun protection, the sun is strong.
