Djerba / Lagoon Souk el Ghebli

Big shallow area (32 sqkm) with max. 1.3 m tide. Flat to choppy, no waves. A small beach separates the lagoon from the open sea. Sandy to slickly bottom. Soft sand in front of the kitebeach, the rest is hard packed sand with some small stones. Big packed sand area ideal for kitebuggying. Lots of space. The wind usually comes from Northeast which is sideonshore. Best winds from spring to fall. Wetsuit necessary during winter (November to March). Rest of the year just shorts and sun protection. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
