Wind driven swell of all sizes. Crowd free. A busy day is 10 kites. Fantastic 3 miles golden horse shoe shaped, sandy beach. Sideshore: WNW and ESE. If the wind gets too north, travel round the corner 2 miles by car too St Combs for 6 miles of beach. Water rarely below 7°C, wetsuit advised although on very hot days it is not necessary. Season good April to October. There is excellent surf most of the year. Rarely gets very cold, maximum temperature of air is around 23°C. Can rain a lot in winter. Average water temperature of 10°C. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Camping, School, Shop, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
