Big shallow area. Flat to choppy water. Can get some waves at the sandbar in stronger winds. Long sandy beach. Stay away from the packed beach in front of the camping area. Launch from the west end of the camping area beach. Any wind strength or direction possible. Fall to spring more westerlies and generally with depressions. Nice E, NE days specially from spring to fall, but not very often. A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November.
