Harbour Island / East Beach

The water is turquoise blue and crystal clear and flat inside the reef. The beach is one of the best in the world. Wide and long and pink sand! Wind can be counted on 4-5 days per week from October to December and February to May. January is hit and miss and the summer months you can only expect wind 1-2 days a week. In the windy season, wind ranges from 15-30 kts and usually blows a nice 20-22 kts. The wind is usually blowing from the NE to SE and can be completely onshore sometimes. Wetsuit is only an option on cold days in Jan and Feb, but never really necessary. Water is 21°C in winter and 26°C in summer. Water: Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
