Honshu / Chigasaki

There are always some surfers close to the wave breaker to please kite on the right of the surfer. With more than 15 knots of wind, the waves are medium (1-3m). The kite beach in Chigasaki is the section on the right hand side of the harbor when facing the ocean. The beach user are generally more further east around Kamakura. The kite beach is generally relatively empty. Due to the topology of the bay, the wind are generally strait onshore. Due to the strait on shore wind it can be difficult the pass the waves with more than 15 knots of wind. A wetsuit is always needed, spring and summer a shorty will be fine. Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
