Hood Canal / Belfair State Park

Watch out for shallow water and oyster beds. There are some pretty nasty rocks just under the surface you should scout out or ask locals about so you can steer clear of them. Medium beach with grass and pebbles. Stay out of the way of families and small children. Be courteous and friendly because access to this location is sensitive. Drysuits not recommended because of all the sharp oysters but a good thick wetsuit will give you plenty of warmth and some good protection if you do indeed to crash in one of the oyster beds.
