Stay clear of Saudi families, women and children swimming etc. Local people usually arrive after 17.00. The coast guards can harass you, end your set and search your car so bring a passport with you. Beach and the desert area full of plastic garbage, prepare for a shock. Nice thermal winds kick in pretty much everyday from before noon to until sunset.
