The water is shallow (waist deep) inside the reef and has flat water, choppy outside the reef. Narrow beaches, a lot of launching area. Shoes recommended due to shells. Wind blowing from December to March. Side/sideonshore (E/SE), typically 15-20 knots, days with 25-30 knots possible. All the south coast of the island works from mid December to April and from June to September. In January, February and March, we get 16 knots average 8 days out of 10. April never sees any wind because this time of the year is the transition period between NE monsoon and SW monsoon.
