Lake Hefner / Windsurfers Beach

Usually flat to choppy depending on wind conditions which can vary greatly in Oklahoma. Relatively small beach but free from trees and other obstructions. Very rarely crowded. The best wind blows during spring (March thru June) and fall (September thru November), when storm activity is at its best. Some warm windy days in December, January, and February. 4.0 to 5.0 are the most used sails. Some warm windy days in December, January and February. The water is frigid. Summer is nice. Water: Flat, Chop. Features: School, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
