Lake Michigan / South Haven South Beach

When the wind comes from the north, South Haven's South Beach can get some great over head waves. Fresh water on Lake Michigan. Can get crowded in the summer with tourists. South Beach has food, bathrooms, and showers about 150m from the beach. Most of the time the wind is light, but we do get big wind days. Season: April to November. 5/3 wetsuits used in the spring and fall. Shorties used in the summer. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
