In the south part of the lagoon you will find excellent flat water and the water is from 0.3-2m deep. Outside on the reef you will find a slowly breaking wave, which can be huge (up to 5m), but does not create a tube. Long white beach, lots of room. Summer is the best time to kite in Perth.
