Long Reef Beach

On the left side of the beach is a cliff, where the waves are very clean. The waves roll into perfect flat water. The swimming flags are not far from where you launch in a southerly, so be careful and stay clear! Best winds: Northeast to Southwest. Temp in summer around 25-40°C, water around 21-22°C, shorts are fine for summer when the wind is at its best. Warm water in summer (~22°C) with colder water in winter (~16°C). Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: School, Rescue, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
