Oeland / Sandbergen

Flat water. Shallow for several hundred meters with sandy bottom. Choppy if there has been windy for some hours. Mostly grass, sand or small pebbles close to the water. Some pine trees close to the beach, not suitable for self start/landing. There's a special seabreeze due to Ölands dry landscape and the proximity to mainland Sweden. This is most noticable in the spring when the water is cold and the land is warm, average wind is probably 20knts and almost always from the South. Wetsuit is fine. The water is very shallow so it warms up early in the season. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: School, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
