There's tide, because the water is connected to the sea. The water is choppy, no waves. It's deep water when it's high tide, and it's shallow for maybe 50m when it's low tide. But you can't stand because the bottom is covered with oyster shells. Booties are highly recommended. The big downside of the spot is that it has a very small `beach`. The spot is just at the side of a dam, where a road passes over. So it's a bit of grass and you only have a very narrow strip to launch. You can go to the base of the dam but there are lots of shells there so that isn't too good for your gear either. General winds are Southwest to Northwest, and 10 to 20 knots in strength. Quite solid winds here. May to September: water: 14-19°C, air: 15-25°C. October to April: water: 5-8°C, air: 4-12°C. So wetsuit needed all year. Water: Chop. Features: None. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
