Pontal de Maracaipe

Tide goes from 0-2.5m, flat water at low tides and little chop at high tides and we have good waves from May to September (2'-6'foot). About 800m from the beach there is a 2 km wide reef with nice natural swimming pools. The beach is a paradise. It is the point of Maracaipe Bay, clean and soft sand. There is nothing at the beach, the place is totally safe with a big nice area for launch and land the kites. October to January: 8-20 knots, February to April: 8-15 knots, May to September: 10-25 knots. The best season for kite and surf is from May to September with S/SE winds, but in December and January we have some very good NE winds but not as consistent as the S/SE winds. Nice temperatures all year long, no wetsuits need. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shop, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
