Porpoise Point

Nice playground for all wind directions. Flat to choppy water in the channel and bay area, and flat areas along with small, but nice waves on the ocean. Look out for boat traffic. Be aware of the currents witch changing tides. Big, sandy area with lots of space. Any direction work good on this spot. One of the few spots where a West wind can be ridden. On a N, NE, SE ride further on the ocean side. Normally always warm and sunny. During winter a shorty or long wetsuit is needed when northerly cold fronts pass through. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
