Port Fourchon

The ocean side has small to medium waves. Waves breaker in the water about 400 ft from shore, but only at a certain area. Further left there is an access to a lagoon with perfectly flat water in SE, S, SE, E to NE winds. Big sandy beach with lots of space. This spot works with all wind directions. Hot and humid in the summer. Wetsuit in the winter time when cold air from the fronts blow through. Water temps varies with the seasons. Very warm in the summer and cools off to wetsuit temperatures in winter. Water: Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
