Areas in blue are the primary riding areas. Area 1 is the butter flat water spot. The water is pretty shallow and you need booties. I would also recommend taking your fins off of you are only going to ride the flat water section. Im here this week and its about 1 to 2 feet deep (6 inches in some spots). It dries out come March so you may be pretty thin in a few weeks - But ride able. All depends on the currents and tides. The black X's represent where the fisherman set nets in the morning and early afternoon. Keep you distance and respect them - this is a very locals sensitive area. They are usually gone by 1 or 2pm. Area 2 is the waves / chop section. Some nice 3 to 4 footers to have fun on there. The red dot is the launch spot. If you are solo you can do a drift launch or standard downwind self launch/relaunch. There is not a ton of beach space but enough. Blue arrows represent the general wind direction. Your key is to read the Las Mareas wind meter. If its 20+ E, ENE, its ON. 15-20 and will be rideable, but not as fun. Less than 15 and it's mowing the lawn. Normally around 2 knots more than La Parguera Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave.
