San Andres Island / Rocky Cay

It is paradise. Very nice play ground with flat water. Clearest water with amazing water colors. Beware of the marked swimmer's areas and swimmers in the water. Small sandy beach. Enough space to launch a kite, but move out of the way of sun bathers. Packed beach during the weekend. The best season for good winds is between December to February and also in the summer June to July. The wind speed for San Andres depending on the season is between 10-35 knots. On the east side the wind is mostly onshore and sideonshore. The average temperature for all year is 30°C. The water is warm as well, so no wetsuit needed all year. Water: Shallow, Flat.
