The kitebeach is located between the tower 28 and 29, at the junction between Venice Beach and Santa Monica. All year long, the wind blows between 8-10 knots. The wind direction is normally blowing onshore making difficult to get out. During fall and spring time you can catch some good clearing winds blowing between 20-30 knots. Like everywhere in southern California, the wind season really starts in the summer time.
