Flat to choppy water. The lagoon is deep but the water west of it is shallow. Long jetty that goes out into the gulf for about 100 yards. Good place to launch on north winds. Launch in the deep lagoon and ride through the opening or launch on the outside of the lagoon on the western edge. This is a good launch when the wind is coming out of the north or NE, which is offshore on the Atlantic side. On warm days just shorts. Shorty on cold fronts and during winter even a normal wetsuit needed. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Camping, School, Shop, Repair, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
