No need for shoes. Just white sand, no rocks, shells, reefs or corals. This spot is completely different from the main beach of Cayo Santa Maria since it is perfectly oriented for the main direction (East). Nice weather and temperatures all year. In winter when cold fronts, a shorty can be handy, but normally just shorts and sun protection. Water: Shallow, Flat, Smallwave.
