Virginia Beach 88th Street

Ocean riding with waves 1-12'. Great for downwinders. Downwinders either way depending on the wind. The riding area is from 40th St. to 89th St. Very wide sandy beach with no obstructions. Bring all your gear, from strong to light wind gear. Spring and fall are best but on a normal year there is great sea breezes almost everyday with 12-20 knots during summer. Best season is April to October. Some guys go all winter. Usually by May we are in lite spring suits or trunks. But a 3/4 full is all you will ever need. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
