Flat to choppy. Big shallow area. No real beach, just a small area with a small creek (Eschlibach). Trees close by. Works in SW, W, NW N and NE. Best in SW, then the wind gets accelerated, about 100m from shore. At the Bodensee suddenly storms can hit. Therefore a storm warning system has been created, using orange flashing lights, and ships put up a balloon on the mast. Look out for these signals to avoid getting into problems. Nice in summer, cold in winter. Wetsuit almost all year-round. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Shop, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
