Shallow and can have extremely flat water tidal pools. Otherwise choppy when the tide is at high. Sandy beach. When tide is out there are acres and acres of sandy flats to practice kite flying, then it is a long walk to the water line. This is an excellent beginner spot. At high tide there is still lots of room to rig and launch. A very popular kiting spot if the wind is right. Best wind: Southeast or South. Winds tend to be light during summer. Winds are typically light and rarely get above 15mph (during summer) from the Southeast (45° onshore). Good winter riding spot as winds tend to be stronger than summer. Mostly sunny from April to October. Shorty suit good June thru August. In winter a dry or heavy wetsuit is a must. Winter temps range 5-12°C. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Shower, Toilet. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
