Waves in southern and eastern wind directions, while there will be flat water when the wind comes from the Southwest. This means that the hotspot has a lot to offer both the flat-water enthusiast as well as the wave rocker, and the beach itself offers a number of small cozy corners. The water is shallow some 20-30 meters off coast after which it gets deep, and since the sea is very open here at Brunbjerg, it is necessary that you are able to relaunch your kite from deeper waters and that you can go upwind – combined, this makes it a really fun hotspot for the experienced kite surfer. You find the beach of Brunbjerg in a small bay with fine sand. During summer you need to expect other users of both the beach and the water; make sure to look out for them. On the beach you will find an emergency triangle, and you have a terrific view overlooking the sea. To really make this hotspot work, it is best kite surfed in winds coming from Northeast to east and Southeast as well as from the South to Southwest. Water: Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
