There is shallow, flat water for about a mile before you get to any breaking waves. The waves were about 5-8 feet also depending on ocean swells and wind. Too much scuba boat tour traffic, so be aware. Very narrow beach. Lots of people walking. Assisted launch probably be required depending on crowd. Better to launch in the water. Usually the East trade wind is sideonshore the entire time and would build (thermal) during the afternoon. Winds about 12-22 mph, averaging about 15 mph. The water and air is warm. No wetsuit needed year-round. Sun protection is recommended. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
