The water is so clear that you can see to the bottom with a softly sloped sandy white bottom. 3 miles of awesome beaches! You can find a place to set up your gear and ride here in pretty much any wind direction with beaches facing almost every direction. Any wind direction is possible and works. Usually just shorts. A couple of cold weeks in the winter, but very warm compared to anywhere not tropical. Then a shorty should be fine. Water: Chop. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
