Probably the best spot in Cyprus for wave riding but best avoided in the summer when it is flat and very crowded with swimmers. During summer ride at the right curve to the left, here you can also rig your gear. Few rocks in the water who can be stick out sometimes. Some areas with currents. Sandy beach and easy access, very busy in summer, lots of tourists. Further left pebbles and thistles. Best season: April to November. Ideal wind direction: Southwest. Southwest and West during summer time. East and Northwest during winter (sometimes South winds, 12 foot waves). Gusty all year round, stable during summer time (SW). During summer the winds starts around 14:00. The air has 16°C in winter and up to 32°C in summer, sometimes hot with up to 35°C. The water has 16-26°C. Riding is possible all year long. Water: Mediumwave. Features: Food. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
