A lagoon is around the island, and to the south a reef in around 1km distance with nice waves breaking. The island is max. 5km long and max. 1.5km wide. You will find sandy beach in the NE, NW and south of the island. The NW has a nice sand spit with lots of space. The island can be ridden with any wind direction, however on the main beach area that everyone goes to, during the SE wind direction, it will produce gusty offshore wind. Best time to ride at Fishermans Beach is during the Northwesterly wind season where wind is on/cross on shore wind. Warm all year round. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: None. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
