At low tide it can be very flat in between the waves. You cannot kite at high tide. Busy with tourists in the summer. At low tide the beach is really nice and super easy to launch from, however as the tide comes up it begins to get tricky as there are groynes higher up the beach, and there is no where to launch or land. This is why locals wait for the tide to go down onto the sand as the beach at low tide is just sand. Predominant wind direction is from the southwest. The spot can be ridden from SSE clockwise round to WNW. In winter you definitively need a thick wetsuit. In summer you can wear just shorts, but a shorty is good to have. The season is as long as you can bear the cold. Water: Shallow, Flat, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shop, Food, Parking.
