The waves can get pretty big with West or Northwest swells. Be careful at low tide when rocks appear. Look out for big fish. Long, sandy beach. Rocks to the north and south end of the beach. Too northerly wind creates holy wind in the impact zone. This beach even has wind on a hot day when no Northwest wind makes it to Waddell Creek. No wind with fog, so get off the water if it shows up. A wetsuit is needed all year round, since the water is pretty cold. Water: Mediumwave, Bigwave. Features: Rooms, Camping, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
