Poor in the summer do to boat traffic and its sheltered cove. For experts only. Wind is usually from the west, 15-25mph. Excellent for both snow and water kiting. Broadalbin boat launch is a great place to launch from. If you can arrange a ride, it's great to do a down winder from the boat launch to Fish House Road. Stop by Sand Island en route! The lakes freezes during winter. Water: Chop, Smallwave. Features: Camping, Shop, Parking. Rider ability: Expert.
