Perfectly flat in Northwest winds. Many different conditions on this spot. Shallow, flat and choppy, small to medium waves. It is on the side of a river mouth, with sandbars etc. Look out for the ships passing by. Look out for some shipwrecks, which can be seen during low tide, but will be covered during high tide. Look out for currents with outgoing tide, it can make you loose your board. Also be careful with incoming tide, it can get pretty strong. Humberston is on the shore line of the river Humber which is a busy major shipping lanes feeding Grimsby and Immingham and the port of Hull not forgetting the oil and gas terminals at Tetney. Don't be surprised if you see some seals popping up in front of you from time to time mostly harmless but if you see a bull seal get away from them as they are aggressive in the breeding season. Soft sand, some shells. Long walk out to the sea at low tide, very large area, also good for buggy kiting. Look out for wooden stakes at some parts, which are located closer to the dunes. Humberston Beach this is inside Thorpe Park Holiday Camp and the beach can get crowded with holiday makers in the summer. Northwest is the best direction for speed sailing. North Sea can by cold out side of the summer months, wetsuit needed. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
