Super flat on offshore (East and South East days). Tiny chop on NW, North, and North East days. Waist deep for kilometers. Small beach at the camp site requires that all kiters roll up their lines when not on the water. Assisted launches recommended. Beginners and intermediates need only walk into the lake in ankle deep water with their assistant for safe launches. You can kite all directions of wind here. Northwest, North and Northeast preferable as they come in clean and strong and the `tide` is higher by a few inches. East and Southeast are better kited at the "Dos Suemos" site because the offshore wind comes across from the ocean to the lagoon clean with less turbulences. Season lasts from December to May. Even though in Mexico, beware the "Nortes" as the air can get a bit chilly. Most of us use shorties when it blows from the north, especially if overcast, but on all other days you are fine in shorts and a lycra rashguard. Water: Shallow, Flat. Features: Rooms, Camping, School, Rental, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
