Kralova / Kaskady

The water basin Kralova is about 12 km long and 2 km wide. There is deep choppy water. The grassy beach is about 20 m wide, so you can start from the water. There are a lots of bushes on the beach. Starting and landing is uncomfortable. Best winds blows in spring and autumn months. Winds are gusty, comes usually form NW, sometimes from N and S. Winds comes usually with fronts, usually 3-7 Bft. Best direction in Kaskady are N and S. West wind is not usable in Kaskady. Season is from April until October, you need wetsuit in spring and autumn months. In summer you need shorty or short arm wetsuit. Air temperatures during spring and autumn are 10-17°C, in summer about 30°C. Water temperature 10-15°C, in summer about 24°C. Water: Chop.
