Excellent flat water close to shore and behind the sandbars. Shallow areas. Long sandy beach. Lots of space. Best launch is in the north end where the dunes reach into the lagoon. Best winds from July to January. Normally trade/thermil winds from NE during the day. Wind get strong, expect 20-30+ knots during high season. Wind is gustier here than on the ocean. Warm all year. Air during the day 32°C and at night 27°C. The is water 29°C and just shorts are needed. Bring sun protection, the sun is strong. Rainy season from February to May with occasional showers.
