Water level depends on the season. If it blows onshore it will has big waves. Boulder Beach is graded over 1 mile of beach. It can be pretty gusty here most of the time and it goes offshore during the summer months which is SW direction. SE is sideshore, NW or NE in the winter months. Not very consistent with winds. Winds are generally strong and gusty when the spring months arrive. North winds are a bit better. Tends to go SW afternoons. Expert beach somewhat for riders who can handle gusty and shifting winds offshore. Dust devils go through the beach so it makes it dangerous sometimes. Warm water summer months, cold water winter.
