Lake Ontario side has good waves that build quickly over the shallow bottom. West Lake side is more low chop. From the Sandbanks Beach parking lot walk north along the beach until you are well away from the swimming area. This is the only beach in the park you can ride, so don't compromise the access, stay well away from the swimmers and other beach users. I rode here in June and had some 20kn plus days, but the locals say September and October are the best bet. Water: Shallow, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms, Camping, Toilet, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate.
