Soft muddy bottom, some shallows near the banks. Keep clear of the dam. Built in 2005 as a reservoir so the water is clean. The lake is quite small so constant vigilance is required. Keep an eye out for underwater hazards. Several areas contain submerged logs, posts, and there's a large concrete boulder 2ft underwater just to the left of the south shore fishing pier near the dam. Rigging areas depend on what side of the lake you are on. There are a few nice grassy areas to rig that are free of trees/away from parking. Very few people crowding the lake, most people found in summer months. Located in central Texas, so the winds are gusty. You can launch from several areas on the lake depending on the wind. Warm in summer, cold during winter. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
