Flat to choppy water. Very flat behind the wave breakers in E, SE, S and SW winds. Look out for boats. The beach is mainly grass and only 200x200 ft. You should walk out into the water to launch your kite. A boat ramp is just next to it. Best during winter and spring frontals. Hot and humid in the summer. Wetsuit in the winter time when cold air from the fronts blow through. Water temps varies with the seasons. Very warm in the summer and cools off to wetsuit temperatures in winter. Water: Flat, Chop.
