In front of the spot is a 1km long mole. Flat water inside the mole. Swell outside the mole. Grassy beach to set up. Lots of space. Kiters set up at the far south of the park, upwind of the windsurfers. OK for beginners but it helps to know how to go upwind so you don't end up in the marina. Only good if the wind has some East in it. Due east being onshore. If the wind has any west in it go to Dalrock. Average year round temp of 75°F. Year round kiting with wetsuit needed only in 3 months during winter. Few afternoon thunderstorms and easy to see them coming from the west sometimes producing fast outflow heading north when storms form south of Dallas. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
