Flat water bay surrounded by Marsh Islands. Sandy bottom with some weed patches in late summer, but never to bad. Clear water and warmest spot in the Great Lakes, especially in the spring. Average water depth 2-4 feet for miles. No current. Perfectly flat water behind the many swan slicks upwind of the launch. Sandy beach/park area with washrooms and barbeque's right at rigging area. Water is very shallow so water launch is the best option due to small size of beach. Store for food and alcohol is located 100 meter's away, across the parking lot. Nice park area with play equipment and volleyball pits. Works on any wind with West in it. Warm Southerly winds always peak from 2-5 pm due to thermal enhancement. Best wind is in spring. Best directions: W, NW. Mainly used kite size: 12-16 sqm. May to September air and water above 65°F. July and August water temps in the upper 70's to low 80's°F. Season runs from early April to Mid October (above 50°F air and water). Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
